We enjoy raising our farm animals. The grandchildren visit every year and fully participate. My husband has been raising
sheep as was his father. Growing up with my family as a child, i had the wonderful experience of showing dogs and we
had one of the top dogs in the nation in the 1970's.
We raise the criticaly rare Mulefoot Pig. A large black hog with a mule-like hoof. This also has been passed down through
the generations. There are approximately 300 left of this special breed. The meat is gourmet quality, they forage well on
pasture and are quite often much more docile than many breeds. They are considered a heritage breed of swine.
